The role is accountable for ensuring category plans, strategies, and implementation plans are aligned with Indirect Procurement strategy, Source-to-Pay (S2P) Managed Services offerings, and overall Enterprise and Division needs. In addition, this role will provide functional leadership of the Indirect Procurement Logistics Category Team.This position will be located at one of our US East or US West facilities, with the possibility of a hybrid work arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.Responsibilities:Lead development and creation of Global Logistics Procurement Strategy in partnership with the Supply Chain Leaders and Logistics Operating teams.Influence Division choices and decisions in the areas of Logistics to ensure balance of Enterprise goals and leverage while meeting the individual divisional needs.Utilize available market intelligence information to identify opportunities and drive category management strategy.Manage key stakeholder relationships while ensuring business requirements are met.Leverage Procurement Operations team outputs and deliverables in direct application of category strategies: Spend Analytics, Total Cost of Ownership, Supplier Performance and Risk Management, Procurement Policy Development/Governance.Conduct supplier risk assessment and determine mitigation strategy, and monitor supplier performance based on agreed KPIs and execute supplier performance reviews.Be responsible for ensuring the supply market analysis is developed for Logistics by Level 2 categories including Supplier Diversity and ESG in support of Enterprise Goals.Lead the creation and execution of category strategies in alignment with company goals by collaborating with Indirect Division functional team leads.Directly negotiate enterprise-wide contracts or agreements of significant value.Provide direction to Managed Service Strategic Sourcing Category Managers, Indirect Procurement Category Managers, and Procurement Specialists across all Divisions and Specialty Groups.Required Qualifications:Minimum 10 years of demonstrated Procurement experience with a minimum 5 years of experience in Category Management OR Strategic Procurement activities.Minimum 5 years of previous global Logistics Shipping, Warehouse, and 3PL or 4PL Indirect Procurement Strategic experience.Previous experience working with an external procurement partner to drive projects and an industry standard approach to Source-to-Pay (S2P) for the IT Category.Knowledge of current Logistics products and service offerings.Demonstrated ability to drive savings and value within the Logistics Category.Demonstrated ability to enable change with a growth mindset toward Industry Standard practices.Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships globally across businesses and functions.Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and influence leaders and associates to adopt new ways of working.Ability to negotiate with internal stakeholders to achieve necessary objectives and outcomes.Ability to travel up to 20%, including globally.Desired Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree.CPSM, CPM, SPSM or similar certification.Previous people leadership experience.Hybrid Working Arrangements are permitted for Associates in the continental United States (US) and Canada, with appropriate approval and compliance with Gore's hybrid working policies, from the country in which they are employed.What We Offer: Our success is based on the capability and creativity of our Associates, and we are proud to offer a comprehensive and competitive total rewards program that supports your everyday and helps you build your tomorrow.We provide benefits that offer choice and flexibility and promote overall well-being.
