Job Description :

Job Summary: The Category Manager will be responsible for managing a specific category of products, developing strategies to maximize sales and profitability, and ensuring the category meets customer needs. This role requires a blend of analytical skills, strategic thinking, and strong communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Develop and implement category strategies to achieve sales and profitability targets.

+ Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and supply chain to optimize product assortment and pricing.

+ Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of products.

+ Monitor category performance and adjust strategies as needed to meet business objectives.

+ Analyze sales data and customer feedback to make informed decisions on product selection and merchandising.

+ Prepare and present regular reports on category performance to management.

Qualifications:

+ Bachelors Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.

+ Proven experience in category management, retail management, or a similar role.

+ Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

+ Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

+ Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and category management software.
