Leading NYC Gourmet Food Market and Caterer is seeking a Catering professional for our commissary in the Bronx.Responsibilities:• Working at our commissary, in the Bronx, under the guidance and direction of the Catering Supervisor, you will be responsible for the preparation and assembly of all catering orders.• Demonstrate enthusiasm, teamwork, and dependability making all the assigned tasks in the Catering Department.• Under the supervision of the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for the preparation of all foods being produced for our retail operations throughout New York City and the Hamptons.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:• Demonstrate a high level of creativity possess an understanding of every facet of the gourmet catering preparation.• Demonstrated work experience and creativity with a range of foods in a wide array of circumstances.• Acquired the capability to read and follow instructions from the executive chef and catering supervisor.• Recognized the ability to work with individuals and teams of diverse backgrounds as a member of a team.• Be able to produce large quantities of food and have the flexibility to adapt to change.This position is part of a high-volume food prep production team. Some holidays, weekends and overtime work will be required.
