Job Summary
As a Catering Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating catered events for a high-profile financial institution.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Handle catering orders for the business floors of the office.
+ Works with catering manager and supervisor to ensure accuracy of event details, food/beverage requirements and costs.
+ Provides hospitable, prompt, and detailed service as scheduled by management or by request.
+ Maintains consistent phone and email communication with clients, guests, team members, and support departments.
+ Communicates with co-workers and service partners including vendors to ensure updated information is shared.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office
+ Two years of planning or coordinating experience in a hospitality industry
+ Proactive mindset to anticipate and support changes in our business
+ Keep abreast of industry trends and share information with staff
+ Exceptional customer service abilities
+ Ability to maintain positive and calm demeanor in a fast-paced environment
