Job Description/Objective of position: As a Catering & Events Assistant, you will support the Events Director in planning and coordinating both on-site and off-site events, actively participating in each event. You will also manage group dining and happy hour reservations.
General Responsibilities - Respond promptly and courteously to email inquiries.
- Manage group dining reservations across our New York locations.
- Maintain calendars and communicate with restaurant management regarding upcoming group dining events.
- Build strong relationships with clients through effective communication.
- Assess event requirements to prepare, negotiate, and refine detailed quotes and proposals for each unique event.
- Generate invoices and contracts to finalize event details.
- Maintain accurate physical and digital records for seamless communication between clients, planners, and staff.
- Proofread external communications, including website content and printed materials.
- Format and print on-site event menus.
- Provide support at on-site and off-site events.
