You'll see it in everything from our daily interactions to how we treat our guests – even in our extensive associate benefits and programs.Job SummaryJob Title:Deli Catering LeadFLSA Status:HourlyReports To:Deli ManagerDeli associates have the opportunity to improve the breakfast, lunch, and dinner tables of our guests by providing a wide variety of delicious meal options. The Catering Lead's main responsibility is to prepare food for all guest orders for pick-up and delivery. They will also be responsible for directing any staff that is to go out to a destination that is to be catered.Job DescriptionESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProvides excellent services by practicing the Boomerang PrincipleAssist guests with finding items they are looking for on or off the sales floorReceives, prepares, and fulfills guest orders and other special requestsProvides excellent guest services by professionally answering Deli Department telephoneAddresses guest concerns and resolves issues when a guest is not satisfied with the service or product received, if in need further assistance, bring concern to Deli Manager errors, and order complicationsResourcefully and effectively manages issues related to foot shortages, food preparation errors, and order complicationsEnsures comapny food safety and sanitation prodeures are met at all timesKnowledge of cooking procedures, kitchen equipment, work surfaces and overall kitchen according to cleaning schedules and proceduresMaintains food safety logsEnsures all quality standards are being met, including quantity expectations at 100% by 10 am and 5 pmRegular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absencesOther duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily.
