Description:Please use this link to complete an application on our Company Career Page: Come join us at one of our premier catering venues as a Catering Operations!Position: Catering OperationsJob Duties and Responsibilities:-Supervise the daily operation of the banquet area (order and maintain supplies, review set-up, and food and beverage preparation and service) to ensure compliance with Company procedures, banquet event orders, and safety regulations.-Ensure optimal levels of service, quality, and hospitality.-Meet with customers to review and address changes, issues and/or problems to ensure delivery of a quality product; prepare necessary files and worksheets for event.-Monitor and control the maintenance of the banquet areas and equipment to protect the assets and ensure quality service.-Supervise and direct the banquet associates including captains, servers, wait staff, etc.-Interview, hiring, schedule, train, develop, empower, and coach banquet staff.-Assist in the book and paperwork preparation of parties (meet...book...contract).-Assist in banquet sales.-Position breakdown: 75% Operation responsibilities/25% Administrative.Pay & Perks: -Salaried pay -Paid Time Off for Full Time Employees -401K for Full Time Employees-Medical, Dental, Vision Benefits for Full-Time EmployeesQualifications:-Required to have at least two (2) years experience in a banquet management environment as a MAITRE D'-Strong F&B background-Assertive and driven to ensure all tasks are completed -Proven track record for supervising a team-Proven performance for achieving excellent customer service-Ability to oversee hiring, training, scheduling, employee issues, and terminations-Good communicator, well organized, and detail oriented.-Flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays; able to work on an event-driven schedule-Basic computer skills-Must be able to work independently as well as follow given instructionsThe Company:Lessing's Hospitality Group is comprised of over 100 locations throughout the Northeast and Florida.
