You will also possess knowledge of various warehouse machinery and equipment such as pallet jackets, forklifts, etc. Perform all forklift/inventory duties. Must be able to work a flexible schedule. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Executes essential daily warehouse tasks including:
- Continuous organization and optimization of warehouse space to increase efficiency and safety
- Cycle count, verify and maintain inventory records as needed
- Report safety and quality concerns regarding warehouse facility, equipment, and inventory to manager
- Fulfill orders, facilitate with the intake and outtake of product:
- Safely move and stack materials
- Keep production lines supplied with empty containers and packaging materials as needed
- Offload and receive inventory via deliveries and help load outbound shipments onto trucks for transportation
- Intake all orders and ensure deliveries make it to their destination
- Transport palletized products and goods to storage racks while applying knowledge of spatial relations
- Work cross-departmentally with Production, Operations, Finance, and Fulfillment teams to ensure warehouse activities are aligned with company goals and business requirements
- Maintain a clean, organized, safe work area for yourself and other employees
- Perform proper forklift inspections and follow forklift operating guidelines and procedures.
- Ensure proper storage of all facility consumables and products are in compliance
- Ability to work well with others in high-pressure situations with a sense of urgency
- Effectively communicate information and respond to questions/suggestions from various levels within the company
- Other duties as assigned by supervisors

- Experience: At least 1 year of related experience and/or training in food production, packaging or kitchen environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be able to understand and comply with kitchen and packaging sanitation and safety regulations.
- Must have experience working with a high sense of urgency, preferably in a fast-paced work environment.
- Must have strong attention to detail.
- Must understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions.
- Forklift Certified, or ability to become certified
- Computer Experience
- Good Judgement and ability to follow protocol
- Must obtain all state required: permits, licenses, certifications
- Willing to submit to a background check
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and written.
- Possess basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- State regulations require all applicants must be 21 years of age or older
