Job DetailsJob Location 213 West 35th St SCIF Clinic - New York, NY Position Type Full Time Education Level LMSW, LMHC, or LCSW Salary Range $72,000.00 - $72,000.00 Salary/year Travel Percentage Up to 25% Job Shift Day Job Category Nonprofit - Social Services DescriptionJOB SCOPE: This is a clinical position requiring in-depth knowledge of human behavior, DSM 5-TR criteria, and strong diagnostic skills. CCBHC Clinician is expected to conduct thorough evaluations, on-going risk assessments, manage risk, develop treatment plans & provide evidence-based therapy to an ethnically and culturally diverse population of children, adolescents, adults, and families. Responsible for documenting and maintaining all treatment and services in the clinical case record. As part of the clinical team clinician will collaborate with other CCBHC staff and external service providers around the provision of additional services, including psychiatric rehabilitation, substance use, medication management, physical healthcare, and peer support. CCBHC Clinician is responsible for participating in mobile crisis team, with rotating on-call coverage to respond to community-based crises outside of clinic operating hours. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provide direct clinical services to a caseload of individuals and families.
- Provide crisis assessment, crisis planning, and crisis intervention services.
- Complete comprehensive intake assessments, as well as ongoing Screening, Assessment and Diagnostic evaluations for both behavioral health and substance use.
- Provide person- and family- centered treatment planning.
- Proving ongoing psychotherapy and group services, utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Perform timely and accurate documentation of all services provided.
- Collaborate with medical and other CCBHC regarding the coordination of care and services.
- Collaborate with external treatment providers to coordinate care.
- Provide on-call after hours coverage for the Crisis Team
- Perform other duties, consistent with the goals and objectives of the program, as directed by supervisor.
QualificationsSKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Familiarity with OMH, OASAS and CCBHC regulations.
- Knowledge of DSM 5-TR criteria.
- Knowledge and experience of electronic health records (specifically AWARDS by Footholds) preferred.
- Must be able to use outlook, word, excel.
- Must be reliable and able to work independently and understand the importance of maintaining confidentiality.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Master's degree required: LMSW, LMHC, LMFT LCAT, or equivalent in licensure in NYS; LCSW preferred.
- Experience working with individuals with serious mental illness and experience in work with families and groups.
- Must be outcome oriented in a fast-paced environment with deadlines.
