Lorco Petroleum Services is currently hiring a CDL B box truck driver to make LOCAL deliveries for our Elkton, MD facility. Our box truck drivers deliver petroleum products which include washer fluid, automotive antifreeze, and parts washing solvent. While at the customer's site they will collect drums full of oil filters and oily solids for recycling at one our facilities. Lorco operates a well-maintained fleet which is comprised of mostly newer automatic Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks. Benefits: Health Insurance (Medical, Dental, Vision) 401K and 401K match retirement plan Paid Time Off Paid Holidays Home Nights & Weekends Pre-Employment Qualifications: Hold a CDL – B License and pass a road test monitored by an approved Lorco licensed driver. Must have a “clear” MVR (Motor Vehicle Record). Obtain a TWIC Card & pass a Pre-Employment Physical & DOT Drug Test. Ability to use a company Tablet Good verbal and written communication and the ability to use a company Tablet Responsibilities: The ability to work an 8-10 hour day, (usually 5 days a week) with the time divided between driving and stopping at customer's sites to service their needs. The strength to repeatedly climb into and out of the truck cab and cargo body of the truck. Perform a Pre and Post – Trip Inspection on the truck you were provided. The strength to move around a hose to fill customer tanks and with the assistance of a drum dolly (manual hand truck) transport 55 gallons of automotive fluid or used oil filters that weigh between 500 - 700 lbs. Manage a schedule and work independently Properly clean up product spills when necessary The ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend and twist during the course of the day. The ability to work outside and manage the weather accustomed to the northeast Must be able to effectively communicate (verbal & written) & maintain a professional business relationship with all customers. Have a good sense of direction and the ability to interpret a map, minimizing the possibility of getting lost or traveling on restricted road ways.
