CDL Drivers (Class A + B) - Synerfac : Job Details

We are seeking CDL drivers (Class A and Class B) for our client based out of Chestertown, MD for the following positions. - Flatbed Driver (Class A)- Boom Truck Driver/Operator (Class B)- Mixer Trucks (Class B) Job Description: -Learn company's safety program and always perform safe practices.-Safely and efficiently operate vehicles/equipment for various customer job sites as directed by the plant manager and/or dispatcher.- Ensure delivery records are processed appropriately.-Maintain good customer relations by acting in a professional and courteous manner.-Be a team player and maintain a positive attitude with other team members.-Communicate with dispatch, plant operators, other drivers, and customers to ensure proper delivery, placement, and to provide best-in-class service.-Perform daily pre-trip equipment inspections (including tire pressure, brakes, air pressure, fluid levels, and lights - headlights, brake lights, running lights, etc.), as well as daily preventative truck maintenance.- Demonstrate reliable work ethic and self-motivation. Ensure environmental and DOT requirements are followed.Job RequirementsQualifications:-Must be at least 23-years of age.-License: Must possess a valid CDL driver's license (Class A or B) with current medical card and pass a DOT drug screening.-Driving: Minimum one (1) year of CDL driving experience with a clean driving record for the last 5 years.-Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively.-Must be able to understand written and oral instructions.-Good interpersonal skills to establish and maintain respectful relationships with other staff-Interpreting written information such as safety rules, sales tickets, operating instructions, and procedure manuals-Strong work ethic with flexibility, as this position requires varied working hours and ability to work overtime, and weekends as needed.-Drivers will be home daily : typically a 50 - 100 mile driving radius (occasionally further for Flatbed Drivers)
