These materials are most often produced from natural deposits of limestone and river sand. Our mining process typically begins with drilling and blasting the rock into smaller pieces. The material goes through various stages of crushing and screening to produce the sizes and specifications desired by our customers.About the PositionCDL Driver is responsible for transporting heavy equipment and occasionally rock, sand, and other materials from distribution center to customer locations. Drivers are also required to perform inspections before and after a trip, and load and unload products from the trailer to customer facilities. Drivers also follow appropriate safety procedures to transport dangerous cargo and maintain logs of vehicle repair status and working hours.

- Regular, reliable attendance at the worksite or assigned work location
- Operate and drive a truck in a safe and efficient manner adhering to the FMCSA and MSHA rules and regulations
- Inspection on vehicles to include fueling, cleaning, tire/light inspection, checking and adding fluids as needed
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Complete and maintain a Daily Short-Haul Log Book
- Assist maintenance with repairs as needed
- Provide appropriate documentation on delivery tickets
- Ensure all delivery tickets are signed and returned to the plant
- Exercise good judgment regarding work site access, unloading, and operation to and from delivery site
- Maintain good customer relations by acting in a professional and courteous manner
- Continuously follow all safety rules and work in safe and efficient manner
- Monday through Friday day shift with occasional Saturdays
KEY RESPONSIBILITES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:• Follow all safety and environmental rules, regulations and procedures as set forty by company policies, FMCSA and MSHA.• Ability and knowledge to operate and monitor equipment in a safe and efficient manner.• Ability to perform pre-shift inspections• Keep truck and trailer clean, inside and outside.• Ability to comprehend and complete all needed paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.• Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:• Lift objects of various dimensions and up to 75 lbs. occasionally and 50 lbs. frequently.• Ability to repeatedly climb stairs and ladders.• Ability to repeatedly balance, bend from the trunk, crawl, kneel, push and pull objects.• Ability to use vibration producing tools frequently.• Ability to tolerate working outdoors in all environmental temperatures and weather conditions.• Ability to repeatedly reach, squat and tolerate prolonged standing/walking/sitting.• Ability to frequently walk on uneven surfaces.REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:• 3 years verifiable Class A CDL driving experience • Clean MVR• No Violations in DOT Clearinghouse.• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.• Excellent safety and attendance record.• Willingness to do other work as needed, including heavy labor.• Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule, over time and weekends as required.• Ability to work near, around or on light or heavy equipment.LocationPRYOR, OK We are an equal opportunity employer, dedicated to a policy of non-discrimination in employment on any basis including age, sex, color, race, creed, national origin, religious persuasion, marital status, political belief, or disability that does not prohibit performance of essential job functions.Federal Law prohibits the employment of unauthorized aliens.
