Overview:
SimVentions, consistently voted one Virginia's Best Places to Work, is looking for a CEC (Cooperative Engagement Capability) Acquisition Analyst to join our team. As a CEC Program Analyst at SimVentions, you will be responsible for themanagement and communication of program data across teams for multiple projects within the CEC portfolio of the IWS 6.0 Program Office. You will have the chance to work on a variety of interesting projects that require proficient programmatic and technical skills to create adaptable acquisition solutions.
Travel: Occasional site meetings in Dahlgren, Virginia or Laurel, MD. Short trips, at most quarterly, to St. Petersburgh, FL and Boulder, CO. Clearance:
An ACTIVE Secret Clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.
Requirements:
- United States Citizenship
- Active Secret Clearance (or above)
- At least 5 years of program management or analyst experience
- Self-starter, proactive
- Comfortable communicating with program office leadership and external organizations
- Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint, Project, Excel, and Word
- Ability to build and manage relationships across projects and across levels of technical disciplines, management, and leadership
Responsibilities:
- Gather, manage, and communicate the status on a portfolio CEC projects, including OTAs and SBIRs, with project leads and program office leadership
- Document key items as a participant in both programmatic and technical forums
- Develop and manage a comprehensive IMS that identifies critical dependencies and impacts of constantly evolving project data
- Proactively coordinate activities and communicate project data across organizations and teams
- Carry out a wide range of time-sensitive tasks based on emerging cross-domain issues with minimal guidance
- Identify and track project risks and watch items
- Communicate complex issues and solutions to support decision-making across a variety of technical and programmatic teams
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Experience with project collaboration tools, such as Confluence
- Experience with PEO IWS and Navy acquisition processes and products, such as ECPs, product certification, TDPs, FQTs, requirements specifications, etc.
- Experience with DoD S&T program execution, contracts, and technology transition
- Experience with CEC acquisition, design, analysis, and test
- Experience with U.S. Navy or other Armed Services' Weapon or Warfare Systems research and development programs
Education: A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline is required. Compensation:
Compensation at SimVentions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements.
The projected annual compensation range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 (USD). This estimate reflects the standard salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package that SimVentions offers.
