Cellar Associate III - 2 positions available in Paterson, WA at Ste. Michelle Wine Estates (SMWE). This position is full-time, with weekends and nights as needed, and candidates must be 21 years old as this role involves handling alcohol.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist Operators in setting up equipment and monitoring wine fermentation, pumping product to tanks and barrels, chemical addition, and sanitation.
  • Complete work orders, conduct safety checks, manage wine processes, report off standards, perform cleanup, and maintain equipment.
  • Notify lead of inventory shortages and assist in month-end inventory.
  • Operate forklift and shovel pumice while maintaining strong communication and teamwork.
  • Perform light mechanical duties, work in cold environments, and on concrete floors for extended periods, while handling hazardous chemicals.
Position Requirements:
  • Must be 21 years old.
  • 3-5 years of experience in wine processing or related industry.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, able to balance multiple demands and competing priorities.
  • Self-motivated and a team player.
  • Comfortable working at various heights and in tight spaces.
  • Experience with forklift and scissor lift.
  • Ability to follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safety requirements.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Must be able to work extended hours during harvest time.
  • History of responsible use of alcohol and fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies.
Compensation:

$19.50 - $23.67 based on relevant experience. At Ste. Michelle Wine Estates, we believe in paying our employees equal pay for equal work. Individual offers are made dependent upon a candidate's prior experience and education level as it pertains to the role.
