Job Description

The educational/program director ensures the delivery of high-quality programs and instructional programming. The school's overall responsibility includes recruiting families and staff to maximize staffing and enrollment. This position also requires representing the program in the best professional manner and carrying out all daily operations requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide teaching staff in the delivery of instructions with fidelity, lesson planning, and assessment checkpoints using COR Advantage Assessment tool.
  • Ensure familiarity with NAEYC Accreditation and DC Early Learning Standards of Learning, including curriculum implementation in classrooms.
  • Assess staff training needs and development.
  • Manage parent and community relations.
  • Supervise staff and manage facility operations.
  • Establish a marketing/recruitment plan to ensure the center maintains its licensing capacity at all times.

    • Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a closely related field.
  • Knowledge of ITERS, CLASS, and the QRIS.
  • Ability to create a welcoming environment for families.
  • Must follow all regulatory agency's requirements and respond in a timely manner.
