POSITION SUMMARY

The Central Maintenance Technician at Florim USA plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our manufacturing equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues, and program PLCs. Your technical expertise will support our commitment to producing sustainable, high-quality products while adhering to safety protocols.

REQUIREMENTS

• Pre-Employment Screening: Candidates must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess a one-year certificate from a college or technical school.
• Experience: Minimum of one year of related experience in machinery maintenance.
• Mechanical Maintenance Skills:
• Hands-on experience in machinery maintenance, specializing in engines, motors, and conveyor systems.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical devices to resolve issues efficiently.
• Familiarity with power supply wiring and conduit installation.
• Skilled in utilizing metalworking tools such as lathe, drill press, and grinder.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs for efficient equipment operation.
• Design and enhance programs and software for PLCs and operator panels.
• Setup computers and install PC applications for operational needs.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment.
• Diagnose electrical system issues using blueprints and layouts.
• Perform calculations for wiring and electrical equipment installations.
• Maintain and repair process control instrumentation devices.
• Handle VFDs, servomotors, and other electrician's tools for maintenance tasks.
• Support scheduled maintenance procedures and report equipment status promptly.
• Record all maintenance activities accurately.
• Strict adherence to standard operating and safety procedures.

• Starting Pays: $22.00 to $25.00 per hour, with Night Shift Differential of $3.00 per hour.
