Provides explanation of process and addresses concerns and questions.Ensures that all necessary demographic, billing, and clinical information is obtained and entered in the registration system with timeliness and accuracy. Identifies patients who qualify for alternative financing options and assists with any necessary arrangements.Communicates with admitting physician's office, nursing unit staff, and/or other appropriate personnel regarding admission to exchange necessary information and determine placement. Work interdepartmentally in providing critical support toward maximizing upfront collections and patient throughput while minimizing patient delays, rescheduling, and cancelations.QualificationsJob RequirementsMinimum Education: High School Diploma or GED PreferredRequired Skills: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
