Central Scheduling Specialist - Cape Cod Healthcare : Job Details

To provide patient scheduling services in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with departmental procedures while providing outstanding customer service to all existing and potential outpatient behavioral health patients .. Primary contact/liaison for patient access for new and established patients seeking new and/or follow-up behavioral health appointments. 2. Answers the phone in a timely and professional manner, directs calls to appropriate persons and takes accurate messages within the electronic health record. 3. Schedule patient appointments and/or consult requests in person or by telephone in the electronic health record in accordance with department scheduling protocols. 4. Maintains provider schedules to achieve productivity targets, patient access and provider flow while optimizing electronic health record functionality with report trending, scheduling, etc. 5.
