The Central Access Representative position plays a key role in the health system, interacting with patients, providers, payers and counterparts involved in each patient s care. Essential Functions: Perform scheduling, preregistration, insurance and benefits verification, patient payment collection and all other centralized scheduling duties in compliance with customer service standards The centralized scheduler routinely schedules outpatient testing for all patients where services occur as a scheduled appointment/reoccurring visit Answering phones efficiently, providing timely and courteous access to the organization.
