Centralized SchedulerLocation: Remote (Must reside in Oregon)Job Type: [Full-Time]Pay: $60,000K - $70,000K (Salaried)Summary: As a Centralized Scheduler you will be responsible for ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet patient needs in assigned facilities, adjusting staffing based on census and patient acuity. Also responsible for coordinating and communicating staffing decisions with appropriate nursing management/leadership.About Us: Volare Health's portfolio consists of long-term care skilled nursing and short-term rehabilitation centers located in multiple states. We welcome our residents, their families, and our staff with warm hearts. Key Responsibilities:
  • Create, prepare, input, and maintain clinical staffing/scheduling records for assigned facilities.
  • Monitor accurate time entries to ensure accuracy.
  • Advocate for facilities to ensure consistent 24-hour staffing and manage schedule updates.
  • Handle call-ins, replace clinical staff, and minimize avoidable premium pay.
  • Review and manage agency usage, ensuring proper time adjustments and avoiding unallocated hours.
  • Document schedule changes accurately and communicates effectively with staff and leadership.
  • Educate facilities on efficient use of scheduling systems and follow all relevant policies and agreements.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to Work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, etc.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred 2+ years of experience in healthcare or long-term care with proven scheduling expertise.
  • Professional demeanor, detail-oriented, and adaptable to a 24/7 work environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Advanced computer skills and knowledge of scheduling systems.
