Ceramics Manufacturing Associate (1st Shift)This position is within the Mining And Metals Industry.Who is Pyrotek? Join our team to create, improve, and innovate!Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe Ceramics Manufacturing Associate will perform a variety of tasks including cutting, boxing of products, loading and unloading of capsules, and transporting raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility.Essential Functions/ResponsibilitiesSafely and efficiently perform various tasks as assigned by plant leadership, including cutting and boxing products, and loading/unloading of capsules.Correctly label raw and finished goods materials to ensure accurate inventory management.Safely and efficiently use hoist, slings, and forklifts to transport materials throughout the facility.Accurately complete all required documentation, including inspection and inventory forms.Perform general manual labor tasks using hand and machine operated tools.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment; perform general clean-up duties as needed.Report all maintenance or safety needs to plant leadership.Assist plant personnel with additional tasks as directed.Train other operators as needed.Support all ISO systems and personnel, ensuring compliance with ISO documents and procedures.QualificationsEducation/ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GED/TASC.Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesTechnical Skills: Ability to read and follow work instructions. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use various hand and machine tools. Forklift certification required.Core People Skills: Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups, demonstrating high ethical standards and personal integrity.Communication Skills: Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.Computer Skills: Basic computer skills and ability to use software applications for job tracking and material usage.Core Business Skills: Strong judgment, critical thinking, and organizational skills.Physical/Sensory RequirementsReasonable accommodation will be made for individuals with disabilities.Team Members are required to talk, hear, and see; stand, walk, bend, and reach; lift and move materials up to 40 pounds regularly, and up to 65 pounds occasionally.Working EnvironmentTeam Members generally work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to loud noise and moving mechanical parts. PPE such as approved footwear and safety glasses is required.The hourly range for this position is $18.10 - $26.10 + benefits.
