A health services network in Georgia is currently seeking a certified Medical Assistant to join their growing team. In this field-based role, the Medical Assistant (MA) will be responsible for conducting patient visits in the home and working closely with Providers to deliver high-quality care. About the Opportunity: Schedule: Flexible: Location: Chatham County, GA Responsibilities: The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) will be responsible for: Assisting Providers in all facets of patient care during and after in-home visits Translating or connecting with a language line as needed Collecting and documenting demographic, care preference, medication-related, and environmental information Measuring and documenting vital signs Performing diagnostic tasks such as EKGs and blood-laboratory draws, as directed Preparing patient charts and performing clerical tasks, as needed Conducting member outreach to schedule home visits for clinical programs Performing other duties, as needed Qualifications Medical Assistant (MA) certification Solid assessment and documentation skills Desired Skills: 6 months of experience in a Clinical and/or Patient Care setting Computer savvy
