Certified Nurse Aide - Grand River Health : Job Details

BASIC FUNCTION: As a critical part of the healthcare team, the Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) provides various direct, quality patient care activities to residents in a long term care environment.RESPONSIBILITIES:* Assists patients in activities of daily living such as dressing or undressing, bathing, eating, etc.* Implements specific procedures and programs* Coordinates work within the department as well as with other departments* Reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor and documents resident interactions as needed* Responds to inquiries or requests for information* Assists immediate supervisor and nurses with tasks to support department operations* Performs a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS:* Must have an active valid license as a Certified Nurse Aide in the State of Colorado.* Must have current BLS card upon hire and maintain current status throughout GRHD employment.* High School Diploma or equivalent or preferred.* Two years of practical experience in a CNA position preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age.SALARY INFORMATION :$17.50 - $26.57 Dependent on Experience may vary outside this range10% Differential on top of base payAdditional $2.00 - $4.00 an hour for additional weekend and night shiftsAPPLICATION WINDOW: Minimum of three days, and until it is filledBENEFITS:We offer a wide range of best in class benefits.
