Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) About us Trusted Medical, PLLC is the clinical care delivery affiliate of Edera (www.edera.com). We specialize in serving Veterans by reducing wait times for them to gain access to disability screens and separation health assessments required by the Veterans Affairs (VA) to receive benefits. Job Summary: The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides basic patient care under the supervision of a Provider (Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant or Physician). The role will require excellent customer service skills, Provider support with checking Veterans/patients into the clinic, retrieving medical documentation, scheduling, and examination assistance. The CNA is responsible for cleaning and disinfecting the exam rooms and maintaining overall office cleanliness. Ideal candidates have a proven track record of high reliability working in a very independent atmosphere with little oversight. This job description outlines the primary duties and requirements for a CNA role, highlighting the importance of compassionate care and effective communication in supporting patient well-being. CNAs who join TM will be required to become Certified Medical Assistance within 6 months of employment. This certification is at the expense of the CNA. Key Responsibilities:

  • Measure and record vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
  • Record patient information and care provided in electronic medical records (EMR) or patient charts.
  • Scheduling, intake, discharge, and customer service of all Veterans in the clinic.
  • Assisting with performing procedures under the delegation of the Health Care Provider in the clinic after proper training and competency checks. Ie. EKG, Pulmonary Function Test (PFT), Phlebotomy.
  • Creation and maintenance of the physical and virtual site binders for compliance purposes.
Additional Duties:
  • Support Trusted Medical, Providers and other healthcare professionals with tasks as needed.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with healthcare practices and protocols.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
  • Current certification as a CNA in the state of employment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Compassionate and patient-focused attitude.
Work Schedule:
  • Monday through Friday
  • No weekends
  • No holidays
Immunizations Required:
  • TB Screening (less than one year old)
  • Hep B Titers (less than 1 year old)
Immunizations Strongly Recommended:
  • COVID vaccination and boosters
  • MMR Titers (less than 1 year old)
  • Varicella Titers (less than 1 year old)
  • TDAP Immunization (less than 10 years old)
  • Flu Immunization (within current season)
