Provide direct nursing care to the residents according to established policies and procedures and to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is always maintained.RequirementsResponsibilities:

• Assist residents with all aspects of activities of daily living.
• Promptly and courteously answers call lights to determine residents' needs.
• Transport residents and assist residents to walk.
• Make beds and handle all linen in an appropriate manner to prevent the spread of infections.
• Takes and records vital signs, weights, and food and fluid intake and output, as directed.

Qualifications:

• Must be certified as a nursing assistant, by the department of Health, within four months of date of hire
• Previous nursing home experience preferred
