The Aspenwood Company will pay for you to get your CNA license for full time employees!Pay Rate: $15.50/hr.Shifts Available:6:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.2:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.10:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.PRN - all shiftsAvailability: Must be available to work weekends and holidays.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* Help residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and dining, while encouraging independence and respect.* Serve meals in the dining room or residents' apartments, assist in meal preparation, and promote proper nutrition and hydration, respecting residents' right to free choice.* Participate in and initiate leisure activities, encouraging residents to socialize and form friendships.* Maintain accurate and timely records, documenting leisure activities, incidents, observations, and changes in residents' conditions.* Ensure a clean, safe, and orderly environment by performing general housekeeping duties.* Follow proper procedures during emergencies and respond promptly to resident requests for assistance.* Keep track of residents' locations, remind them to sign out when leaving, and promptly report if a resident cannot be located.* Promote teamwork through positive interactions with co-workers.* Maintain high standards of appearance, cleanliness, and personal hygiene.* Attend all required in-service training sessions.* Be an active member of the community's emergency response team.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS* Current CNA* High School diploma or GED required* Current CPR* 6 months to 1 year of prior resident care experience, preferably with seniors* Excellent communication and customer service skills* Strong problem-solving skills, good judgement and attention to detail* Understanding of HIPPA requirementsMust pass a background check and drug screen.EOE/M/F/D/V
