If you have a heart for service and a desire to make a positive impact in the lives of seniors, we'd love to have you on our team.Benefits Include:401K with a 4% safe harbor matchPerks at Work- Discounted pricing on purchasesHoliday Pay including a Floating HolidayGenerous PTO that rolls over year over yearEmployee Assistance ProgramPaycheck AdvancesHealthcare optionsFinancial Hardship ProgramsCompassionate LeavePTO Cashout OptionLocation : Village on the Park Denton, an Assisted Living with Memory Care senior communityPay Rate : $16.00/hr.Shifts Available :* 2:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.PRN - shifts availableMust be available to work weekends and holidays.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* Help residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and dining, while encouraging independence and respect.* Serve meals in the dining room or residents' apartments, assist in meal preparation, and promote proper nutrition and hydration, respecting residents' right to free choice.* Participate in and initiate leisure activities, encouraging residents to socialize and form friendships.* Maintain accurate and timely records, documenting leisure activities, incidents, observations, and changes in residents' conditions.* Ensure a clean, safe, and orderly environment by performing general housekeeping duties.* Follow proper procedures during emergencies and respond promptly to resident requests for assistance.* Keep track of residents' locations, remind them to sign out when leaving, and promptly report if a resident cannot be located.* Promote teamwork through positive interactions with co-workers.* Maintain high standards of appearance, cleanliness, and personal hygiene.* Attend all required in-service training sessions.* Be an active member of the community's emergency response team.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS* Current CNA certification.* High School diploma or GED required.* Current CPR certification.* 6 months to 1 year of prior resident care experience, preferably with seniors.* Excellent communication and customer service skills.* Strong problem-solving skills, good judgment, and attention to detail.* Understanding of HIPAA requirements.* Must pass a background check and drug screen.EOE/M/F/D/V
