DescriptionCRi, the region's premier clinical services provider for people with mental health needs, intellectual disabilities, and developmental disabilities, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for our ICF program in Arlington, VA !Available Shift: Saturday-Sunday 7am-11pm (32hrs) Part TimeHourly Compensation: $22.75The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for all duties necessary to provide assistance to individuals with completing daily hygiene activities, monitoring individuals' vital signs and performing various assigned service duties.Principal Duties and Responsibilities:* Assist individuals with all hygiene and personal Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)* Assist individuals with planning and preparing nutritious meals. The CNA will also monitor individuals' dietary needs on a daily basis.* Obtain individuals' vital signs, monitor blood levels, and obtain consumer weight as directed by physician's orders.* Maintains appropriate progress notes, accurately record medication compliance, and review and understand all Nursing notes.* Assist individuals with initiating and completing laundry tasks.* Observes individuals' level of functioning, report changes in level of functioning to the Program Manager and/or Nursing staff. Additionally, the CNA will be responsible for accurately recording changes in the level of functioning.* Reports to the Program Manager and/or Nursing staff any concerns or observations regarding individuals' behavior and level of functioning.* Familiar with and know each individual's Nursing protocols in order to individualize service.* Develops therapeutic alliances with all individuals.* Assists individuals with attending medical appointments. The CNA will discuss medical issues and treatment with physicians and other health professionals as needed.* Attends and completes all required CRi trainings as well as other trainings as designated by the Program Manager or Nursing staff.* Other duties as assigned.RequirementsMinimum Qualifications Required:* Certified as a Nursing Assistant in the State of Virginia.* Certified as a Medication Aide in the State of Virginia.* Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.* Related experience preferred.Physical Demands:* Requires light and/or heavy lifting, repetitive bending, sign, hearing, and ability to move with ease.Working Environment:Indoor and outdoor program site and various community locations.CRi offers company-paid benefits including health insurance options, 403(b) retirement fund and life insurance for benefits-eligible employees
