- BLS/CPR certification
- Updated PPD (within the last year)
- Active LPN/CNA license

JOB DESCRIPTION: As a nursing professional, you will care for patients in a nurturing and respectful manner. We seek qualified and compassionate individuals who can provide diverse basic care, remaining patient and calm in high-pressure situations. This role can be demanding physically and mentally, but it is also highly rewarding.
LPN RESPONSIBILITIES (not limited to):
- Delegate duties to CNAs to ensure the highest level of care
- Administer medications and treatments according to the MAR and TAR in compliance with MD orders
- Provide wound care to patients following MD orders
- Manage patient admissions and discharges according to facility protocols and MD orders
- Conduct ongoing assessments of patients while adhering to MD directives
- Explain medications and treatments to patients and families, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and facility protocols
- Familiarity with G-tubes, nebulizer treatments, and comfort with tracheostomy patients
SKILLS:
- Proven experience as an LPN
- Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and collaborate in a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures
- Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
- Excellent knowledge of medical terminology
- Proficiency in MS Office and data entry
- Strong physical condition and stamina
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate nature and the ability to manage stress
- Successful completion of an LPN or CNA program is essential
