Key Responsibilities

• Assist, evaluate, document, and perform medical care tasks including:
• Basic first aid and vital signs monitoring
• Catheter and bowel care including intake and output monitoring
• Administer range of motion exercises as directed
• Facilitate patient movement using wheelchairs and other assistive devices
• Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs
• Maintain patient hygiene through assistance with bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Complete and manage necessary documentation after each visit
• Report significant changes in patient condition to the Nursing Supervisor
• Perform specific services as per the physician's plan of care

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Current, unrestricted certification as mandated by state regulations
• CPR certification
• Proficiency in clinical assessments and documentation
• Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record

Physical Requirements

• Proficient in spoken and written English
• Able to travel as necessary
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Capable of prolonged walking, standing, bending, and reaching
• Ability to sit and navigate stairs
• Visual and auditory acuity required
• Ability to respond physically and mentally to emergencies

Work Environment

• Will work in varied environments with potential exposure to allergens
• Possible exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and infectious conditions
