Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Location: Waterville, Maine
Shift: 5:45 AM - 2:15 PM
Requirements:
Current Maine CNA certification
At least one year of recent experience as a CNA in LTC/SNF settings
Patient Care: Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
Vital Signs Monitoring: Monitor and record residents' vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and heart rate.
Mobility Assistance: Help residents with mobility, including moving them to and from beds and wheelchairs.
Communication: Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care.
Room Maintenance: Keep residents' rooms clean and tidy, including changing bed linens and assisting with medical equipment.
Emotional Support: Provide emotional and psychological support to residents and their families.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of residents' health status, treatments, and progress.
Recreational Activities: Participate in recreational activities with residents to improve their mental health and well-being.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
