Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - COTACome join us at Ozanam Hall Nursing Home of Queens! A Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care facility sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm, we've served the community since 1971. We are a place of life, a place of caring, and more importantly, a true home for our residents. We are seeking to fill the position of Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - COTA.

• $30 to $32.56 per hour based on experience

COTA - Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Qualifications:

• Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited Program.
• Licensed and in good standing in the State of New York and current registration (Should be a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association).
• One year of experience in Long Term Care is preferred.
• Knowledge of wheelchairs and Casamba EMR software a plus!

COTA - Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Job Summary:

• Prepare and provide treatments and activity programs for residents under the supervision of an OTR.
• Assist with data collection and evaluation under the supervision of the OTR.
• Complete required documentation, develop treatment goals, and coordinate treatment plans under the supervision of the OTR.
• Adapt intervention environment, tools, materials, and activities.
• Maintain equipment area, equipment, and supply inventory.
• Assist in In-Service Education Program.
• Perform other related tasks as directed by Director of Rehab or Supervising OTR.
