Certified Pharmacy Technician - Carlinville Area Hospital & Clinics : Job Details

Position Summary:The Certified Pharmacy Technician assists the pharmacist by preparing and dispensing medications in the hospital pharmacy setting. Department: PharmacyStatus: Full-Time (28 hours per week/ 56 hours per pay);Day Shift; Non-Exempt; Benefit Eligible Position Requirements:

• Completion of High School Diploma or GED
• Current IL license issued by the Illinois Department of Financial & Professional Regulation, in good standing
• Current Pharmacy Technician Certification issued by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
• Able to regularly sit, walk, stand, use hands to handle and feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk or hear; and taste or smell
• Able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move 50 or more pounds
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
