**Certified Recovery Peer Advocate****Job Details****Job Location**Long Island City Outpatient - Long Island City, NY**Position Type**Full Time**Education Level**High School or GED Equivalent**Salary Range**$17.78 - $26.68 Hourly**Travel Percentage**Up to 50%**Job Shift**Morning**Job Category**Nonprofit - Social Services**Description****Qualifications**REQUIRED EDUCATION+ High School Diploma or Equivalent RequiredLICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS+ Recovery Peer Advocate Certification (CRPA) in good standingREQUIRED EXPERIENCE+ Minimum one year experience providing peer support services.WORK ENVIRONMENT+ This job operates in an indoor office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.+ This position is hybrid/mobile and will be working between Suffolk County Jails, out in the community, as well as in an office at a Phoenix House facility.PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of this position.
