Locum CRNA 122971: Southcentral, Georgia Need: 1 PRN CRNA to start immediately & 2 FT CRNAs to start 9/28.Practice Setting: HospitalSchedule:PRN start ASAP- 7a-3p. Weekends and Holidays are optional.FT start 9/28 - 7a-5p Monday - Friday. Must be responsible for prepping the charts for the next day. Expected to enter the call rotation which includes 24 hour beeper call shifts on weekends. There are no scheduled shifts on the weekends.Support Staff/Supervision: functions in an anesthesia care team model; anesthesiologist providing supervision of the CRNAs; budgeted for 4 full-time MDs and 5 full-time and 1 part-time CRNA - many long-term anesthesia providers at this location.Case Mix: no heads/no heart; orthopedics w/use of regional anesthesia, endoscopies, new EP service starting but scope of cases not yet know. Avg cases per day: Coverage Map: 4 concurrent anesthetizing locations from 7a - 5p; typically 4 CRNAs in-house with 3 MDs each morning except on Wednesdays when there is only 2Surgical Volumes: 3,000 - 3,200 annually; Fridays are the busiest scheduled day; Wednesdays typically the lightestOB Volumes: typically 700 - 800 deliveries; 90% are labor-epidurals/C-section; C-section rate 30%; no VBACs - L&D is on the same floor as the main ORs. MDAs stay in-house when labor-epidural is in place.
