Locum CRNA 123994: Northern, Iowa Specialty: CRNAPractice Setting: Hospital Based and Ambulatory Surgery Center - No pain clinic. Level III trauma center.Dates/Coverage: ASAC - Ongoing sporadic PRN dates. Specific upcoming dates needing coverage as follows:Nov 25-27Dec 23-24 and Dec 26-27Dec 30-Jan 3The schedule is Monday-Friday from 7a-3:30p. Locum will very rarely be asked to stay late. Weekend Call Requirements:Must be able/comfortable with OB/epidurals, some trauma, some spine, simple peds cases, bread and butter stuff to cover call. No hearts.Must be available to cover 1 weekend per monthCase Mix: OB, General surgery, GI, Bariatric, Uro, Ortho, Neuro, Cardiothoracic, some ENT (most of it is done at the local ASC), some peds. Must be comfortable with OB/epidurals, some trauma, simple peds cases, and bread and butter cases to cover call. Really sick peds are usually shipped out. There is always a physician on 2nd call to back them up if there is overlap in patient volume or if the case is a trauma and they don't think they can handle.
