Weekly Pay Range - $1701 To $1890 Job Title: Certified Tumor Registrar Job Specialty: Tumor Registry Job Duration: 9 months Shift: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM, 5x8 hour shifts, 100% remote Guaranteed Hours: 35 hours per week Experience: Three years of experience in Tumor Registry in an acute care hospital or equivalent abstracting experience License: RHIA (Registered Health Information Administrator) or RHIT (Registered Health Information Technician) Certifications: Tumor Registry certification (CTR) Must-Have: - Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology - Proficiency in English (Read, Write, Speak) Job Description: - Perform accurate and timely data abstraction and entry related to tumor cases - Maintain comprehensive and accessible records in compliance with health information and registry standards - Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy in documentation processes - Ensure data quality and integrity through regular audits and quality checks - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to gather required data - Stay updated on relevant industry and regulatory requirements - Support hospital staff with any tumor registry-related inquiries or training - Manage workload efficiently to meet deadlines and productivity expectations
