Position Highlights:

  • Strategic Leadership and Vision: Lead the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences in strategic planning for administration, research, teaching, and community service while aligning departmental goals with the broader mission of OUHSC.
  • Research and Academic Excellence: Foster an environment of intellectual curiosity, interdisciplinary collaboration, and extramural funding to advance the department's research portfolio and academic reputation in rehabilitation sciences.
  • Teaching and Curricular Development: Inspire innovative teaching methodologies, support faculty development, and ensure excellence in professional and post-professional academic programs, empowering students for diverse careers.
  • Community and Stakeholder Engagement: Strengthen relationships with alumni, donors, and community stakeholders, enhancing the department's impact locally, regionally, and globally.
  • Leadership and Operational Oversight: Provide holistic management of departmental resources, faculty development, and Centers of Excellence to cultivate a nurturing environment for faculty, staff, and students while ensuring financial stewardship and program accreditation.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive Compensation Range: $110,000 - $175,478
  • Comprehensive Benefits Package: Medical & Dental insurance, retirement & generous holiday and PTO days.
  • Relocation Assistance - $10,000

Qualifications:

  • Degree(s): Earned post-professional doctoral degree (PhD, EdD, DSc, OTD, DPT)
  • Academic Rank: Associate Professor or Professor level
  • Leadership Experience: Demonstrated success in strategic planning, faculty recruitment, team building, and advancing inter-professional initiatives within a complex academic or healthcare environment.
  • Teaching and Mentoring: Experience in teaching, curriculum development, and mentoring graduate and professional students, post-doctoral fellows, and junior faculty.
