POSITION DETAILSDepartment: Spiritual Care Location: US:PA:Lewisburg Typical Work Schedule: Varied ScheduleWork Type: Per Diem Exempt: NoSUMMARYThe Chaplain provides interfaith Spiritual Care services within the healthcare setting of Evangelical Community Hospital to patients, families, and staff; provides liaison with area clergy and coordinates consultations. The Chaplain performs duties to support the goals and objectives of Evangelical Community Hospital in its efforts to provide quality patient care and patient satisfaction. The Chaplain supports the educational mission of the department including working in conjunction with spiritual care volunteers.QUALIFICATIONS1. Requires (1) a Bachelor's Degree and/or Master's Degree of Divinity and/or Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) and a minimum of 4 units of CPE; residency is preferred; requires ordination, licensure or commission by recognized denomination or faith group as well as Ecclesiastical endorsement and statement of good standing from the denomination OR (2) relevant experience and completion of a CPE program within one year of hire. 2. Clinical Pastoral Education experience from an approved seminary or chaplaincy clinical setting is preferred. Board certified preferred. 3.
