Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Load product into brine cages in a timely and orderly fashion maximizing use of cage space and no damage to product
- Inspect cheese for non-conforming product, remove such product, return to rework in a timely manner
- Keep correct count of cheese on each layer of the cage
- Perform housekeeping duties as required
- Assist with form changes and table operations
- Assist with rework as needed
- Maintain work area in a clean and orderly fashion
- Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks as required to maintain plant equipment.
- Check and remove any leftover product in cage shelves before loading.
- Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks as required to maintain plant equipment.
- Disassemble equipment for CIP and reassemble when finished.
- Change and clean brine filters as needed.
- Assist in training of new personnel.
- Assist in other production areas as required.
- Minimize water usage and eliminate the generation of wastewater within the scope of position.
- Follow all DFA GMP's and work in a manner consistent with all corporate and regulatory quality and sanitation requirements
- Perform related duties as assigned.
- Must adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to use commercial English, grammar, and arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, including decimals and fractions.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English.
