Chef Manager Ref: 2022-41498 Job Information Division: Caterplus Advert Closing Date: 04/03/2022 Contractual Hours:Full-time Salary:31,200 Per annum Contract Type:Permanent Location:Brighton, BN2 0AQ Working Environment Looking for a motivated passionate Chef Manager who would love to join our team and deliver a fantastic dining experience to our residents within our assisted living care home.

Job Description Your key responsibilities as the Chef Manager will consist of:

- Lead Heads of Departments to ensure proactive management of teams on site

- Accountable for recruiting, inducting, training and supporting staff to deliver an efficient, high-quality service to Elior UK, our customers and clients

- Motivating and managing a team

- Controlling and managing a budget

- Accountable for ensuring ongoing team communications, including building internal and external relationships, management reporting and client liaison to enable operational excellence

- Accountable for maintaining, ordering and controlling food stocks within budget

- Engage with clients, customers and residents

- Accountable for COSHH, Food Safety, H&S, legal regulations, environmental policies and duty of care to customers and colleagues

**Working Pattern**: 5 over 7 - 7am - 3pm

Skills and Experience The experience and knowledge we are looking for from the future Chef Manager include:

- Proven experience of successfully managing a team

- Genuine interest in customer service excellence

- A strong team player

- Highly confident and positive

- Self-motivated and able to work well unsupervised

- Proactive with a can do' attitude

- Contract Catering experience desirable

Benefits As part of your package, we are offering a salary of 31,200

This role also comes with a workplace pension and 28 days holiday pro-rata (including Bank Holidays). You can also purchase up to 5 additional days annual leave.
