Black Owl Recruiting is sourcing a passionate professional with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering, and a minimum of 5 years experience (Advanced degree desirable), for our reputable client in Butte, Montana.

A successful candidate must have developed strong chemical engineering research and development capabilities and have a knack for innovative solutions to technically challenging problems through work experience in a product and/or a process development environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop chemical processes and equipment for manufacturing operations
  • Conduct research to develop new chemical products and processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes
  • Implement and maintain process control systems, including logic controllers
  • Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and other relevant industry standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to chemical processes
  • Perform risk assessments and implement safety measures in the workplace
  • Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement
  • Provide technical support and guidance to production teams

Recommended Experience:

  • Proven experience in chemical process design and development
  • Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles
  • Familiarity with FDA regulations and quality control standards
  • Experience with quantum engineering concepts is a plus
  • Proficient in using computer software for process simulation and data analysis
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities

Requirements of the position are:

  • BS in Chemical Engineering (MS or PhD of added value)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Enthusiasm for working in a diverse, demanding, and exciting technology environment
  • Strong work ethic and team player attributes
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • International travel will be required
