Chemical Operator - Lancesoft : Job Details

Title: Chemical Operator/ Warehouse workerShift: 24/7 rotating shiftsLocation: Jackson, MIDuration: 12 monthsPay: $19/hrPosition Overview:

The candidate will be involved in various production activities, including but not limited to:

• Milling, mulling, spheroidizing, and blending in batch plants.
• Operating forklifts, hand trucks, and other material-handling equipment.
• Loading drums and sacks with finished solid chemical products.
• Completing all required daily production documentation accurately.
• Identifying and reporting safety concerns or violations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hands-on involvement in manufacturing, including interfacing with products and operating equipment.
• Supporting team members with various operational tasks, including chemical process operations.
• Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards, attendance, and teamwork.
• Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and using proper protective equipment.
• Demonstrating good safety practices and troubleshooting equipment issues.
• Operating a forklift and participating in chemical processing activities.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to work all shifts and overtime as required.
• Experience in manufacturing assembly/production is essential.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work well in a team and exhibit good work habits (attendance, safety, housekeeping).
• Basic computer skills; SAP knowledge is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to work rotating shifts, including 24/7 schedules.
• Capable of lifting and carrying up to 55 lbs.
• Ability to work at heights and in small, confined spaces.
• Must adhere to the site's facial hair policy and wear a face mask/shield when required.
