Such responsibilities encompass not only the internal functioning of the Chest Pain with Primary PCI and Resuscitation Accreditation Program, but also the integration of the hospital program with the local community, including prehospital providers. Additionally, the Chest Pain Coordinator shall participate in a leadership role in the hospital and community. The Chest Pain Coordinator will provide over-site and direction, planning and implementation for the accreditation process while coordinating the efforts of all hospital departments and other entities involved with the care of cardiac patients. Will oversee the ongoing quality processes for cardiac patients to assure efficiency is maintained and improved when opportunity is possible. Assumes leadership and facilitation role in relationships with physicians, staff, as well as other critical stakeholders. The Chest Pain Coordinator will work with departments and staff to ensure program success by:* Working in conjunction with physician experts and other staff to oversee and coordinate the development and implementation of the accreditation process.* Working cohesively with the Cardiovascular Medical Director to review quality outcomes.* Working with cardiac database and Quality Manager to review and improve the care of cardiac patients according to CMS guidelines.* Working in conjunction with the Emergency Department and Emergency Medical Services to develop, implement and regularly communicate cardiac patient transport and outcomes.Qualifications* Bachelors required. Masters in Nursing or Health related degree preferred* 3-5 years CC, ER, or Cath Lab required* Knowledge of quality and CMS guidelines preferredYou will be considered for all openings for which you qualify; there is no need to apply for multiple positions.
