About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer to lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of its compliance and privacy programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the organization's adherence to all relevant regulations, proactively identifying and addressing compliance and privacy issues, and leading a team of compliance and privacy professionals. This role requires a strategic leader who can collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to resolve complex matters and ensure alignment with industry standards.Applicants for the Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer position at the company should have a Juris Doctor (JD) or a master's degree in a related field, with a strong preference for a JD. A minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare compliance and privacy, including hands-on management in complex organizational environments, is required. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of healthcare reimbursement systems, fraud and abuse laws, and patient privacy laws, as well as a proven track record in managing and resolving billing and regulatory compliance issues. The role demands a professional with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders and who is adept at ensuring the organization's compliance and privacy programs are in line with the highest industry standards.
