About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President & Chief Data and Analytics Officer to play a pivotal role in the institution's leadership. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and leading a reimagined organization that focuses on institutional research, enrollment and student success data management, operational effectiveness, and accreditation. This mission-centric leader will ensure that data and analyses are accessible and fully leveraged to support strategic development, identify and resolve key issues, and meet compliance requirements. Key responsibilities include building an office that promotes student success, establishing an operational effectiveness function, and serving as the institutional representative for various data reporting entities. The role also involves direct oversight of institution-wide assessment efforts and the establishment of a data-informed culture.Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of leadership experience in data analytics and strategy within higher education, with a Master's degree preferred. Advanced knowledge of research processes, applied statistics, and predictive analytics is essential, as is a strong sense of ethics, values, and integrity. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in strategic agility, operational and project management, and the ability to build and lead effective teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, statistical software, and higher education ERP systems is required, with a preference for experience with Banner Ellucian ERP. The role demands exceptional communication skills, the ability to build strong relationships, and a commitment to the mission and values of the institution.
