The Role

As Chief Estimator, you will lead the estimating department, modernizing operations and driving accurate, competitive bids for structural and miscellaneous steel projects. Reporting to senior leadership, youll manage a team of 3-4 estimators and implement modern software and tools to enhance efficiency and performance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and mentoring the estimating team.
• Implementing modern estimating software and automation tools.
• Estimating for large projects, including railways, motorways, signage, and heavy civil works.
• Collaborating with project management and leadership teams.
• Serving as the departments primary point of contact for stakeholders.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience: 10+ years of estimating experience in the structural steel industry, including team management.
