CFO (Chief Financial Officer)

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CFO
As a CFO, you manage the financial affairs of our hospital according to business unit goals, sound business practices, corporate and hospital policies, and various government regulatory requirements. First, you oversee budgeting, auditing, tax, accounting, and insurance activities. Second, you direct the accounting staff to maintain proper records and provide adequate accounting controls and services. Third, you appraise our organization's financial position and issue periodic financial and operating reports. You get great satisfaction out of maintaining the integrity of our accounts!
QUALIFICATIONS
If you are a current controller, 7 years of acute-care hospital experience with 3-5 years of that being in a director or controller role is preferred. A master's degree and CPA (certified public accountant) certification are preferred.
