We are looking to hire a CFO to join a firm that specializes in lost asset location and recovery. The ideal candidate will have experience with contracts, tracking cash flow, QuickBooks, financial planning, analyzing company financial strengths and weaknesses, as well as being a quick thinker.
CFO Requirements:
8 - 10 years of experience in accounting/financeBachelor's degree in tax, accounting, or finance or Similar; Masters degree preferredExperience with contractsExperience with proposing strategic directionsPayroll experienceExcellent management and supervisory skillsExcellent analytical and organizational skillsBackground in Real Estate or Construction is a plusSupervisory Responsibilities:
Oversees Accounting department, budget preparation, and audit functions.Works with other department heads to monitor each department and make recommendations.CFO Responsibilities:
Review all transactions from prior daysReview client's fee agreements when payments are receivedCompares sales and profit projections to actual figures and budgeted expenses to actual expenses; makes or oversees any necessary adjustments to future projections and budgets.Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reportsReconciles the general operating account and payroll bank statements and enters the cash journals into the General LedgerReviews the planning process and suggests improvements to current methods.Works with the CEO and other executives to coordinate planning and establish priorities for the planning process.Review all invoices and pay accordinglyDirects the preparation of all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, tax returns, and governmental agency reports.Review all insurance policies (new and renewals)Pay vendors and conduct check run on certain days of the week.Complete payroll and correct any discrepanciesDemonstrates effective communication and problem-solving skillsCFO Salary & Benefits:
