Chief Financial Officer - Advanced Business Solutions : Job Details

Job Summary:

Must have Community Banking Experience.

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company, providing strategic financial guidance, and ensuring the company's financial health. The company is a billion-dollar bank in assets. Must haves include understanding CECL, derivatives, investment accounting, accruals/prepaids, ALCO, holding company financials, financial statement preparation (including footnotes), reconciliations, FDICIA key controls, S Corp status, shareholder communication, capital and liquidity stress testing, and call reports. Location: Basehor-Topeka or Seneca, KS. Will pay for relocation. On-site, no remote work.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial strategies in line with the company's goals.
• Manage the company's financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Oversee financial reporting and analysis to support decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Lead and manage the finance team to achieve departmental objectives.
• Provide insights and recommendations to optimize financial performance.
• Collaborate with other departments to drive business growth and profitability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• Proven experience as a CFO or in a similar executive role.
• Strong knowledge of financial management, budgeting, and technical accounting principles.
• Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience in cost accounting, corporate accounting, and IAS standards.
• Ability to analyze complex financial data, develop insights, and make strategic recommendations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Pay: $150,000.00 - $185,000.00 per year
